Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team at Hodge Industrial Technologies. In this role, located in our operational regions, you will play a vital part in maintaining financial integrity and supporting our mission of delivering swift and reliable service to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough financial audits to ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP standards.
• Perform account analysis and balance sheet reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts for management review.
• Assist in regulatory reporting and ensure adherence to relevant regulations.
• Utilize accounting software such as Sage and Quicken for efficient financial management.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide insights on financial performance and budgeting needs.
• Monitor financial transactions for accuracy and completeness, addressing discrepancies as needed.
• Support the finance team in various tasks related to financial management and strategy.
• Office tasks such as upkeep, inventory management and receiving packages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Proven experience in financial auditing, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective report writing.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Ability to forecast financial trends based on historical data and market analysis.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records.
• Experience in financial management within an industrial or manufacturing context is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $61,387.00 - $70,000.00 per year
