At the Hodge, we encourage learning and development through fun activities that assist in boosting a child's cognitive and physical skills–all the while tailoring each lesson based on the unique qualities that make up each individual child. In our care, children will acquire the basic skills necessary for a lifetime's worth of achievement such as listening, following directions, sharing, and completing assignments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise children and maintain child safety at all times. Both indoors and outdoors
- Understand and follow all licensing regulations as they pertain to staff, children and the center
- Develop lesson plans, prepare class projects and arrange classroom activities
- Organize and supervise class field trips
- Monitor and document children’s learning and development. Discuss progress with other teachers, parents, or guardians as necessary
- Maintain complete and accurate records
- Label, organize, and distribute daily learning materials
- Adapt the appropriate teaching methods to individual children as necessary
Necessary Skills:
- Highly organized and responsible
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Great child supervision skills
- Patience
Education and Health Requirements
- Authorized to work in the US
- Valid United State's drivers lisence
- Clear Department of Justice background check
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
Salary : $16 - $20
