Appliance Sales Associate

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and sales, with the ability to create a welcoming environment for our customers. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining the store's operational standards.

Duties

• Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and support their purchasing decisions.
• Assist customers with product selection, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
• Take Phone calls and schedule service in our scheduling software
• Operate cash registers efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately while ensuring compliance with cash handling procedures.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, including restocking merchandise and setting up displays.
• Supervise and train new staff members, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Utilize effective phone etiquette to handle customer inquiries and follow up on sales leads.
• Communicate promotions and product information clearly to customers.
• Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
• Proficiency in cash register operation and cash handling practices is advantageous.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as this can enhance customer interactions.
• Basic math skills are essential for accurate transaction processing and inventory tasks.

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
