What does a Valet at Hoffman Auto Group do?
Role Purpose
Responsible for ensuring safe and efficient handling of customer and company/owned vehicles
Leadership
This Position does not lead others.
Core Accountabilities
- Greet all customers entering the service area within ten (10) seconds of arrival. Direct customers to service write-up area, tag, install mats and seat covers and park vehicles; turn in keys to service advisors. Check customer and loaner vehicles for damage. At time of pickup, valet vehicles for customers, removing mats and seat covers.
- Ensure proper flow of vehicles in drive thru. Keep drive-thru clean with use of supplied equipment as designated by the Service manager.
- Wash customer vehicles and perform detail functions as directed. Take charge of wash-bay flow as needed to ensure vehicles are washed on time.
- Assist with snow removal as needed. This may require shoveling, sanding, cleaning off and moving vehicles, assisting with plowing.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service orientated environment preferred
- Can adapt and embrace change with an internal and external customer centric mindset
- Act as an advocate for teammates and have a strong commitment to technology advancement
- Possesses effective communication skills: oral, written, listening.
- Works well with customers, promotes a positive image of the company, strives to solve issues raised by customers.
- Ability to stay on feet for entire shift.
