What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil Construction Estimator position at Hoffman Construction Inc.?
We are seeking a full time civil project lead estimator. We are looking for someone with a minimum of 10 years experience in the construction industry with a minimum of 3 years experience in the civil construction industry.
Primary duties will be:
- Performing earthwork and underground utility takeoffs.
- Sending out bid invites to subcontractors and supplies.
- Compiling and evaluating quotes for scope and completeness.
- Crew building and labor cost.
- Equipment building and equipment cost.
- Prepare subcontract's.
- Prepare submittals.
- Track job cost.
- Work with owner on bid reviews.
Salary : $100,000 - $150,000
