Position Summary :
We are seeking a Controls System Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring journeyman-level expertise in AutoCAD or EPLAN and a passion for learning and innovation. This role involves designing detailed system and panel layouts, selecting appropriate components, and creating material submittals and detailed sequences of operation to meet project specifications. The position offers a unique blend of control systems design and hardware engineering.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop precise and detailed system and panel drawings using AutoCAD or EPLAN.
- Select appropriate components based on project specifications and industry standards.
- Generate material submittals utilizing manufacturers’ data and specifications.
- Create comprehensive and accurate sequences of operation tailored to system requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure designs meet project goals and timelines.
- Continuously learn and apply new concepts, tools, and technologies to improve design processes and project outcomes.
- Contribute to a team culture of accountability, curiosity, and dynamic collaboration.
