Laundry and Rental Manager

Job Summary
The Laundry and Rental Manager is responsible for overseeing day- to -day operations of the laundry facility, and company rental items, Including managing the cleaning and rental of linens & towels, ironing and organizing linen room, ensuring rental deliveries are loaded and delivered in a timely manner, ensuring rental items are returned in proper quantities and free of damage, while ensuring quality standards are met, staff is properly trained and inventory levels are maintained.

Duties

• Manage the overall operations of rental properties, ensuring cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Manage the entire laundry process, from receiving soiled items to distributing clean ones, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and ironing.
• Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
• Manage rental process, including issuing and receiving rental items, recording customer details, and handling lost or damaged items.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery and pick up of rental items
• Implement training programs for staff on best practices in hospitality and commercial cleaning.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance their experience.
• Develop schedules for housekeeping staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak times.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering as necessary.
• Foster a positive work environment through effective leadership and communication.

Requirements

• Strong background in housekeeping management, with knowledge of custodial practices.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks.
• Ability to maintain a clean and orderly environment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with guests and staff.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 32 per week
