What does an Assistant Training Coordinator at Hoffman Auto Group do?
Role Purpose
The Assistant Training Coordinator supports the planning, implementation, and evaluation of training programs within the organization. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure that training needs are met and that employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
- Leadership
This role has no official leadership responsibility, primarily leading by example.
Core Accountabilities
- Assist in the development and delivery of training programs and materials.
- Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, venue arrangements, and resource allocation.
- Maintain training records and databases, tracking employee participation and progress.
- Support the Training Coordinator in assessing training needs through surveys and feedback.
- Facilitate onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging training content.
- Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and suggest improvements.
- Provide administrative support, including managing budgets, reports, and training calendars.
- Communicate with employees to promote upcoming training opportunities and address inquiries.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in training coordination or administrative support is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies is preferred.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
