Position Title Adjunct Faculty, Public Relations Position Number 999972 Position Category School / Division School of Communication Department Full-Time or Part-Time Part-Time Description The Lawrence Herbert School of Communication is pleased to invite applications for an enthusiastic Adjunct Iinstructor in the Department of Journalism, Media Studies, and Public Relations (JMSPR) at Hofstra University to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in public relations, strategic communication, and reputation management. Courses may also include online tools, writing, international public relations, media and influencer relations, and audience research. Adjunct faculty may be occasionally called upon to supervise internships and independent study. Qualifications The ideal candidate will :
- Have professional and / or academic experience and a practical understanding of public relations.
- Have flexibility to accommodate a teaching schedule that may include day and evening courses.
