Hog Slat, Inc., the world's largest provider of equipment and turnkey facilities to the swine and poultry industries, is seeking a highly organized and motivated Training Coordinator to assist in the further development, implementation and assessment of our field training programs. For the ideal candidate, this position affords you the flexibility to be based out of either our Newton Grove, NC corporate headquarters or Midwest division offices in Humboldt, IA. Familiarity with the pork or poultry production industry is preferred but not required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other functions may be assigned as business conditions change.
- Consult with departments throughout Hog Slat to asses individual training needs.
- Work with the training and field management teams to develop a training program to meet the various training needs of multiple areas of the company.
- Implement detailed training programs using various methods to ensure a high level of access and participation throughout the company.
- Ensure programs are in place to support the training needs of new employees.
- Evaluate the success of individual training programs on an ongoing basis.
- Provide ongoing training programs for long term employees.
- Manage to a training budget.
- Be able to quickly assess and develop specific training programs to support changes in the market place.
- Stay up to date on new developments in the field of training and help to ensure we are utilizing the best available platforms to train in a large geographic area.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

- Bachelor’s Degree in education, human resources or a field that supports corporate training.
- Background in sales or sales force training
- Strong creative, analytical and organizational skills
- Strong understanding of new technologies and how they can be applied to training
- Proficiency in use of social media platforms
- Ability to work independently and prioritize various duties in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
