Landscaping and Maintenance

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscaping and Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maintaining beautiful landscapes and providing exceptional services. This role involves a variety of tasks related to lawn maintenance, landscaping, and groundskeeping, ensuring that our clients' outdoor spaces are healthy, attractive, and well-kept. This role also involves some minor building maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, weeding, and trimming to maintain a neat appearance.
• Execute landscape maintenance duties such as planting, mulching, and seasonal flower bed preparation.
• Conduct groundskeeping activities including debris removal and general upkeep of outdoor areas.
• Provide snow services during winter months to ensure safe access to properties.
• Carry out tree care responsibilities including tree trimming and removal as needed.
• Dig and prepare soil for planting or landscaping projects.
• Maintain equipment used for lawn care and landscaping to ensure optimal performance.
• Communicate with clients regarding their lawn care needs and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Minor commercial building maintenance and repairs such as pressure washing, graffiti removal, painting, drywall repairs, plumbing fixes, and light electrical work.
• This is a full time Monday through Friday day position which includes rotating weekends by working a half day on Saturdays doing property checks and day porter services at the high trafficked properties to ensure the upkeep throughout weekends.

Requirements

• Proven experience in lawn care, landscaping, or groundskeeping is preferred.
• Knowledge of proper mowing techniques, landscape design principles, and plant care practices.
• Familiarity with snow plowing operations is a plus.
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Good communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
• A valid driver's license may be required depending on job duties.
• Reliability to arrive at work on time and ready to begin tasks.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
