About the Role

We’re looking for multiple highly motivated and experienced Lead Service Technicians (Levels 1–4) to join our growing team at our Glen Burnie, MD branch. If you’re a hands-on problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and want to lead a team of technicians—this is the place for you.

You’ll report to our Branch Service Supervisor while enjoying autonomy in the field and dispatching directly from home.

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $35–$55/hr
  (Includes $3.00/hr Service Incentive Pay)
• Guaranteed 40 Hours/Week Overtime After 8 Hours/Day
• $90 Weekly On-Call Bonus
• Company Provided Hotel $75/Night Per Diem for Out-of-Town Work

Schedule & Travel

• Typical Hours: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
  (With early starts, off-shift work, and overtime as needed)
• Travel: Up to 30%
  (Most deployments are 4 nights or fewer)

What You'll Do

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of technicians in a high-stress, fast-paced environment to consistently exceed client expectations
• Personally own project performance, including gross profit, timelines, and quality—deliver projects on time and under budget
• Serve as the primary point of escalation for your team within the Service Department, taking full accountability for outcomes
• Act as a technical resource and hands-on trainer for junior technicians, fostering skill development and team growth
• Perform expert-level electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on cranes, hoists, lifts, and rigging equipment
• Lead and participate in equipment installations, upgrades, and field repairs—either independently or alongside your team
• Conduct and document OSHA/MSHA-compliant inspections, ensuring all safety standards are exceeded
• Log time, parts, and reports using Fulcrum (iPhone app)
• Participate in the 24/7 on-call rotation and be ready to answer the call whenever needed, including emergency service situations when not actively on call
• Champion and uphold our "safety-first" and "unmatched client service” mindsets
• Drive team morale and promote a positive, accountable work environment
• Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to coordinate logistics, resolve issues, and ensure smooth execution
• Proactively identify project opportunities and log leads for the sales team to support business growth
• Work with leadership to implement and improve internal policies, processes, and procedures for service excellence
• Manage aggressive project schedules, adapting to field challenges while maintaining focus on profitability and customer satisfaction

✅ Your Experience & Skills

• Electrical, mechanical, and rigging experience required
• Leadership experience required
• Valid driver’s license (no more than 2 current moving violations)
• Able to lift/move 80 lbs. and work at heights or in confined spaces
• Comfortable with fast-paced, client-driven field service work
