Your Impact
The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive retail strategy for North America that aligns with corporate, global brand and marketplace objectives. Identify growth opportunities, including new store openings, market expansions, and e-commerce integration.
- Oversee the financial performance of the North America retail division, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Drive profitability through effective cost management, pricing strategies, and operational efficiencies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing retail management team. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Implement training and development programs to enhance team capabilities and career progression.
- Champion a customer-centric approach across all retail operations. Ensure that the brand's values and commitment to quality are reflected in every customer interaction. Drive initiatives to enhance the in-store experience and strengthen customer loyalty.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities. Leverage insights to inform strategic decisions and introduce innovative solutions that set the HOKA brand apart in the marketplace.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, product development, supply chain, and e-commerce, to ensure seamless execution of retail initiatives. Align retail strategies with broader company goals and objectives.
- Oversee all aspects of store operations, including visual merchandising, inventory management, staff scheduling, and compliance. Ensure operational excellence and consistency across all locations.
- Lead the planning and execution of new store openings in key markets. Collaborate with real estate, design, and construction teams to ensure timely and successful launches.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and profitability in a multi-store environment.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in P&L management.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a large, diverse team.
- In-depth knowledge of the North American retail market and consumer behavior.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and omnichannel environment.
- Passion for the performance footwear industry and a deep understanding of the HOKA brand’s ethos and target market.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field
- 10 years of retail leadership experience, with a focus on the performance footwear industry.
