Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, blueprint reading, and the ability to work with various tools and equipment to ensure high-quality production standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines, to manufacture precision parts. (Holding a /- .001 tolerance. Occasionally a .0001 tolerance)
- Interpret and read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine specifications and tolerances.
- Utilize Mastercam programming software for efficient machine operation and production.
- Perform quality checks using coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and micrometers to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Operating manual machines
- Collaborate with management to resolve any production issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Proficiency in CNC machining processes with hands-on experience in operating CNC lathes and milling machines.
- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Experience with Master CAM programming is highly desirable.
- Ability to use precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- We are an API and ISO licensed shop. Familiarity with these quality processes is highly preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.12 - $26.72 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
