Web Applications Developer

MELBOURNE, FL.

The role of Web Applications Developer requires the candidate to be a full stack developer, as the position entails the creation and customization of enterprise-level applications using cutting-edge web technologies. This primarily involves leveraging C#, Blazor, JavaScript, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SSRS, and Microsoft 365 tools. This role requires the candidate to work onsite at our Melbourne corporate office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Software, database, and/or report development and integration.

2. Detect, troubleshoot, and correct software defects.

3. Perform functional improvements as required by the Software Development Manager, Product Manager, and/or IT Executive, and correct missed deliverables as outlined in project scope.

4. Active participation in SCRUM ceremonies and documentation in the DevOps board.

5. Perform preliminary testing of written applications and modules prior to submitting them for final testing, approval, and release.

6. Assist other team members as needed with troubleshooting and document defects, functional improvements, and define missed deliverables as outlined in project scopes and SCRUM tasks.

7. Additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience

• BS in Computer Science or related field with 3 years’ experience, or 5 years of software development experience.
• 2 years of ERP system implementation and development experience.
• Strong knowledge and experience with software development of MVC, webforms, and single page applications (SPA) using JavaScript and C#, and API integrations.
• Knowledge and experience with writing Microsoft SQL Server queries, including views, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Experience with team dynamics in a collaborative environment.
• Strong knowledge of synchronous and asynchronous software development.

Preferred

• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft SQL Server database administration.
• Knowledge of RESTful API.
• Experience integrating with Microsoft 365 products.
• Experience with SCRUM-based projects is highly desired.
• Home building industry experience with emphasis in software development.
• Experience with Mark Systems IHMS and ITK
• Experience with Razor and server-side Blazor is highly desirable.
• Experience building reports utilizing SSRS or similar technology.
