Job Overview
We are seeking dynamic compassionate individuals with a passion for supporting children with disabilities to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. This role involves providing care and assistance to children ages 4-18 with intellectual disabilities or developmental delays. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting. Escort children on outings, to medical appointments and other activities as needed. Complete daily behavior narrative notes and other required reports accurately and timely. Foster a supportive, safe, and engaging environment to encourage the development of each child's skills and potential. Qualifications include, at least six months of experience working with children, preferably those with intellectual disabilities or developmental delays. Must be 21 years old, have a high school diploma or GED and possess a true passion for helping others and strong interpersonal skills. Work schedule 3:00 PM-11:00 PM.
