Summary
We’re seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Overnight Front Desk Agent to be the face of our hotel during the overnight hours. In this role, you’ll be responsible for providing excellent guest service, maintaining security, and ensuring smooth overnight operations. This is the perfect position for a night owl who enjoys working independently while still delivering top-notch hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, and overnight inquiries
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications
- Process guest payments and balance the night audit reports
- Monitor building security and respond to emergencies or guest concerns
- Prepare reports and set up for the morning team
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area
- Provide concierge-level service by offering local recommendations and answering guest questions
Qualifications:
- Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and handle overnight responsibilities
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with hotel management systems (Opera preferred)
- Must be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Ability to stay alert and professional during overnight hours
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with front desk operations and phone systems is preferred.
- Schedule is Thursday - Monday nights from 10pm-6am, potential coverage on Tuesday/Wednesday if needed. We may also consider breaking the days up in to 2 part-time positions instead of one full-time position.
- Availability for a training period of 2-3 weeks, daytime hours on weekdays
