Guest Services Representative

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role is essential in creating memorable experiences for our guests while managing their needs efficiently. The Guest Service Agent will handle reservations, check-ins, and check-outs, as well as address any inquiries or concerns that may arise during their stay.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a seamless check-in experience.
• Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, using hotel management software.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and a focus on resolution.
• Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
• Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and transactions in the system.
• Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are processed accurately.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for arrivals.
• Uphold high standards of phone etiquette when handling incoming calls and inquiries.

Experience

• Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
• Familiarity with hotel management systems is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary.
• A background in hospitality management or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
