Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Front Desk Agent to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hospitality and ensuring a seamless experience throughout their stay. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in hotel operations, possess excellent communication skills, and be proficient in multiple languages.
Duties
- Greet and check-in guests, ensuring a warm welcome and efficient check-in process.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Manage front desk operations, including handling phone calls and answering guest queries.
- Utilize hotel management software and phone systems to update guest information and handle billing.
- Conduct night audits, ensuring accurate reporting and ensuring the front desk area is secure.
- Maintain a high level of customer service, demonstrating empathy and understanding in all interactions.
- Provide assistance to other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, as needed.
- Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in a second language is an asset, with multilingual skills being highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of hotel operations and management practices.
- Familiarity with phone systems and hotel management software.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
