We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Breakfast Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional guest experiences during breakfast service. This position requires a passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to guest satisfaction. The Breakfast Attendant will be responsible for preparing the breakfast area, serving food, and ensuring cleanliness while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Duties
- Set up and replenish the breakfast buffet with fresh food items, beverages, and condiments.
- Operate the Aloha POS system and cash register for processing guest transactions.
- Communicate effectively with guests to provide information about menu items and address any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area by bussing tables and ensuring all surfaces are tidy.
- Adhere to food handling and safety regulations to ensure the highest standards of hygiene.
- Assist with banquet services as needed, contributing to special events or group breakfasts.
- Foster positive guest relations by providing attentive service and anticipating guest needs.
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services or food handling is preferred.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS systems or similar cash register systems is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A culinary background is a plus, showcasing an understanding of food preparation and presentation.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
