Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance, demonstrating both electrical and mechanical knowledge. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining equipment and facilities, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. The Maintenance Person will also be responsible for supervising maintenance staff and providing exceptional customer service.
Duties
- Handyman Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepares the necessary tools /equipment for the day's work, do any work order request.
- Handles properly the work assigned by the supervisor.
- Task like Caulking, Deep Cleaning, Preventative Maintenance, Pool Servicing,
- Conducts regular inspections of all corridors and area equipment.
- Makes inspection plan.
- To maintain the equipment and tools in good order and to maintain all stores organized.
- To show interest in learning all available new technology and the latest products.
- To share in the implementation of the training programs that will result in better productivity and a better work environment.
- To attend the conducted technical training, and to assure the correct implementation.
- Initiates orders for supplies for the trolley and maintain records of work completed.
- Ensure that all Work Order, PPM & General Maintenance works are executed, as directed by the immediate supervisor.
- Ensures that machines and equipment are clean and tidy at all times.
- Maintains and repairs all furniture, carpet and wallpaper.
- Makes a written report on defects noted.
- Conducts inventory of working tools and equipment every month.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform repairs on various types of equipment.
- Electrical skills with the ability to troubleshoot electrical systems effectively.
- Supervisory experience is preferred, demonstrating leadership capabilities in a team environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Familiarity with logic controllers is a plus but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking abilities to address maintenance challenges efficiently.
