What’s the job?
As General Manager, you’ll keep our hotel running smoothly, providing day to day leadership to your team and make sure all our guests are safe and comfortable. You’ll maximize financial returns, driving development of people, creating and maintaining a memorable guest experience, executing brand standards, and building awareness of hotel and brand in the local community.
What we need from you
- Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Administration, Business Administration
- Three years’ guest service/hotel experience with at least two years in a supervisory capacity, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Hilton experience or experience in a hotel of similar size and complexity preferred.
- Intermediate word and excel required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, project management and detail orientation skills, with the ability to multi-task in order to meet a variety of deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a can-do positive attitude.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision required;
Responsibilities
- Supervise work at all levels (breakfast, housekeeping, maintenance, front desk, sales employees) and set clear objectives
- Plan activities and allocate responsibilities to achieve the most efficient operating model
- Manage budgets/expenses, analyze and interpret financial information and monitor sales and profits
- Develop and implement an intuitive and efficient marketing strategy to promote the hotel’s services
- Communicate with guests when appropriate (welcome them in the facilities, address their complaints, find solutions to problems, offer information, etc.)
- Deal with maintenance issues, shortages in staff or equipment, renovations, etc.
- Collaborate with external parties such as suppliers, travel agencies, event/conference planners etc.
- Inspect facilities regularly and enforce strict compliance with health and safety standards
- Be familiar with Hilton Brand Standards

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
