Housekeeping/Laundry Attendant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. The ideal candidate will possess strong custodial skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality service in a hospitality setting.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure a pristine environment.
• Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and towels.
• Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment issues.
• Follow established safety protocols and procedures while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Collaborate with housekeeping management to uphold standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, including deep cleaning or industrial cleaning tasks.

Experience

• Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is preferred, particularly within hotel or hospitality environments, but not required.
• Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of industrial cleaning equipment is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
