Duties
- Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently to clean various types of fabrics.
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items according to established protocols.
- Ensure proper handling of delicate items and follow dry cleaning procedures as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and quality.
- Ability to operate laundry equipment effectively, including washers, dryers, and pressing machines.
- Knowledge of laundering techniques for various fabric types, including dry cleaning processes.
- Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment is a plus but not required.
