Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and demonstrate proficiency in both electrical and mechanical systems. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, and the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and performing repairs as needed.
Duties
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform electrical repairs and maintenance, including working with logic controllers.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance schedules.
- Execute mechanical repairs, including welding tasks as necessary.
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Use tools such as an ohmmeter for testing electrical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is essential.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and components is required.
- Experience supervising maintenance staff is a plus.
- Proficiency in English for effective communication within the team.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
