Maintenance Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various maintenance tasks, ensuring that all systems and equipment are functioning optimally. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential properties, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate daily tasks to ensure efficient operations.
• Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot and repair equipment effectively.
• Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and repairs.
• Conduct residential painting tasks as needed to maintain property aesthetics.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Operate and maintain logic controllers for automated systems.
• Weld components as necessary for repairs or modifications.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in general maintenance practices.
• Proficiency in supervising teams and managing maintenance schedules.
• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively.
• Familiarity with using an ohmmeter for electrical troubleshooting.
• Experience in residential painting is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of logic controllers is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to repairs.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
