Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a pleasant breakfast experience for our guests by maintaining a clean and inviting dining area, preparing and serving food items, and providing exceptional customer service. This role is crucial in creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages guests to start their day on a positive note.
Duties
- Set up and replenish the breakfast buffet with fresh food items, ensuring all offerings are visually appealing and meet food safety standards.
- Prepare coffee and other beverages, ensuring quality and consistency in every cup.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations throughout the breakfast service.
- Assist guests with their needs, providing information about menu items and accommodating special requests.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery to guests.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
- Utilize tools such as Aloha POS for order management when necessary.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred, particularly in roles related to meal preparation or banquet services.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Experience using kitchen equipment such as knives and coffee machines is a plus.
- Knowledge of OpenTable or similar reservation systems is beneficial but not required.
- A background as a delivery driver or in kitchen operations can enhance your candidacy for this role.
