Job description
Seeking self-motivated, energetic individuals to join our hotel team. We are seeking individuals to provide the highest level of customer service to assist our guests efficiently, courteously, and professionally. Team members who can achieve our goals of making our guests feel comfortable and valued; a customer-oriented approach is essential. Possess the ability to deal with guest complaints in a calm demeanor and utilize exceptional problem-solving skills to keep our guests satisfied. Ability to get along well with others and effectively communicate with other team members. Multi-tasking and good organization skills are required.
Essential Functions:
Provide the highest quality of service to the guest at all times.
· Greet and register guests and provide room assignments accommodating special request whenever possible.
· Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and in a friendly and professional manner.
· Assist guests with general services such as check cashing, making change, and answering any general questions pertaining to such things as hotel services, shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
· Represent the Hotel in regard to guest complaints and situations that require immediate attention.
· Resolve any discrepancies with department out of balance.
· File credit cards, keys and completed reports.
· Ensure that all wake-up calls are handled promptly and properly.
· Balance FD and Hotel PMS accounts to zero. Post room charges, phone charges, compute guest bills using property management system, collect payment following all cash handling procedures as required by the property
Skills
- Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role
- Experience with hotel reservations software, like Opera.
- Understanding of how travel planning websites operate, like Booking and TripAdvisor
- Customer service attitude
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Shift Hours: 11pm- 7am
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
