Come join us at Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Coeur D’Alene and become a Night Auditor/Front Desk Agent! This job is part time, ranging from 20-30 hours per week. You will be working the Night Audit shift which usually has a schedule of 9:00PM to 7:00AM. You may also be doing other shifts if available. This position works weekdays as well as weekends.
We are looking for someone who is upbeat, friendly, and can’t wait to show our Guests what it means to IMPRESS them! As a Night Auditor, you’ll be helping guests check in and out, make reservations, explain our hotel amenities, keeping hotel areas looking bright and shiny, and assisting guests with any questions or concerns they may have. We run our shifts by a checklist, so you’ll know what is expected of you and when, so besides helping the guests, you’ll have other side work to get completed on your shift. You’ll also be helping out and communicating with other departments, such as the breakfast bar or housekeeping if they need something from you. Preferred candidates will be positive, proactive, and be skilled at multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties:
- Acknowledging, welcoming and thanking guests in a warm manner.
- Consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service.
- Anticipating and addressing guests' needs, and resolving their problems and complaints.
- Checking guests in and out of the Hotel and making reservations.
- Assisting guests with special requests for miscellaneous items like cribs, cots, extra towels, etc.
- Collaborating and corresponding with other internal departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Explaining hotel amenities to guests in detail and knowing the layout of the hotel.
- Keeping the lobby and front area of the hotel clean of debris and always ready to accommodate our guests.
- Help guests with suggestions for local attractions, dining areas, viewpoints, shopping, etc.
- Performs additional duties as needed.
Abilities:
- Flexibility in job and ability to provide coverage for the Hotel. This includes working different shifts on different days.
- Ability to follow all Holiday Inn Express Housekeeping and Guest Service standard operating procedures and understand the team member handbook.
- Express facts, ideas, and messages to others in a clear, concise, and organized manner that is easily understood.
- Anticipate the needs of guests; display an open, friendly, courteous, and approachable demeanor to guests; proactively engage guests to provide quality service; maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward guest service.
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time - This is a fast paced job.
Qualifications:
Knowledge/Education/Experience:
- Computer literate and understands how to operate basic office machinery
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Highly responsible & reliable - We need to be able to count on you!
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Team player
- Good time-management skills (your bonus depends on it!)
- Customer-centric
- High School diploma or GED required
- Must be able to pass a background check
It's a PLUS if…
- You have hospitality/customer service experience!

- Ability to stand and be active during entire shift - this can be a physical job!

Compensation:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour DOE
