We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services during the breakfast hours at our hotel. You will ensure that the breakfast area is clean, well-stocked, and welcoming for all guests. Your culinary skills and knowledge of food safety will play a vital role in creating a positive dining experience.
Duties
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area, ensuring all food items are displayed attractively and in accordance with food safety standards.
- Monitor food quality and freshness, replenishing items as necessary to maintain a high standard of service.
- Assist guests with their breakfast selections, providing information about menu items and dietary options.
- Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, countertops, and serving equipment.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, ensuring a positive guest experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food items.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for tracking inventory and managing orders efficiently.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hotel or banquet setting is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain health standards.
- Culinary skills are a plus; familiarity with basic kitchen tools such as knives is beneficial.
- Strong guest relations skills to enhance overall guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
