Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Shuttle Driver/Hotel Houseman to join our team. As a Shuttle Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to and from designated locations. This is a customer-facing role that requires excellent communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a shuttle bus or van to transport passengers to and from designated locations
- Follow predetermined routes and schedules
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking the vehicle
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering passenger questions and addressing concerns
- Maintain a clean and presentable shuttle bus or van
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
- Ensure the safety of passengers by following all safety protocols
- Handle cash transactions for fare collection, if applicable
-Remove trash around the hotel
-Help strip rooms during shuttle down times
-Clean lobby as needed during shuttle down times
-Vacuum hotel public areas as needed during shuttle down times
-Perform tasks as required by supervisor and/or manager
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a bus driver, van driver, school bus driver, limousine driver, delivery driver, or motor coach driver is preferred
- Fluent in English with the ability to communicate effectively with passengers
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge to handle basic vehicle maintenance issues
