Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our front desk at Holiday Inn Express Dayton South I-675. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in front desk or previous hotel management roles. While experience with the Opera Property Management System (PMS) is preferred, it is not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the front desk team, ensuring exceptional guest service at all times.
- Oversee the check-in and check-out process, resolving any guest issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Manage room reservations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in booking procedures.
- Maintain guest service standards and resolve any guest issues or complaints
- Train new front desk staff members and provide ongoing coaching and development.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to ensure high standards of service.
- Oversee night audit procedures and ensure accuracy in financial transactions
- Handle scheduling, payroll, and other administrative tasks related to front office operations.
- Utilize phone systems efficiently and handle reservations effectively
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth communication and efficient guest services.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in front desk or previous hotel management roles.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Opera PMS system preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Knowledge of front desk operations and night audit procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
