What are the responsibilities and job description for the Desk Clerk/Night Auditor position at Holiday Inn Express & Suites of DuBois?
Job Summary:
This position is 2 over night shifts from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Additional hours may be available working evening shifts 2:00 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Assist guests efficiently, professionally and courteously in all Front Desk functions, and maintain high standards for service and hospitality.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide the highest quality of service to our customers.
Check guests in and out efficiently and in a friendly manner.
Be knowledgeable of IHG Rewards program and promotions.
Take reservations and requests accurately and efficiently.
Answer switchboard with proper telephone etiquette.
Block rooms and monitor room activity.
Keep lobby and desk area clean and presentable.
Must be neat in appearance and wear proper uniform.
Practice safety standards.
Perform simple maintenance as needed.
Be able to move luggage, packages, cribs and roll away beds weighing up to 50 pounds. Employee must adhere to all work rules, procedures and policies established by the company including, but not limited to those in the employee handbook.

We are looking for a friendly, out-going person with a positive attitude that can work well with minimal supervision.
Previous hotel experience preferred or at least 1 year customer service experience.
