Job Overview
Responsible for preparing, serving, and breaking down the daily complimentary breakfast for hotel guests.
Essential Job Functions
· Setting up the daily continental breakfast
· Ensuring the breakfast items are well stocked
· Cleaning up after breakfast
· Providing personalized service to all guests.
· Taking inventory of food, beverages, and supplies needed for each day
. Must be able to understand customer service even when guest is upset but going above and beyond to make guest happy.
. Must be willing to go above and beyond to help guest even when your hours of operations are over.
· Preparing foods, such as cut fruit, coffee, and juices from concentrate
· Stocking coffee, juice, and milk machines or dispensers
· Setting out/arranging cold food, such as sweet rolls, muffins, and cereal for self-service
· Clearing and cleaning tables as they are vacated
· Wiping up spills
· Heating required foods to safe levels and maintaining by taking temps as required by health department
· Removing Trash
· Restocking self-service food and supplies as needed
· Cleaning of hotel areas that are not in rooms, such as lobby, hallways, and bathrooms
· Washing serving equipment and returning it to proper location
· Returning reusable food supplies to storage
Qualifications & Requirements
· Exceeding organized and efficient with the ability to multitask
· Ability to communicate effectively with guests regarding breakfast offerings and basic hotel information
· Must be able to work independently
· Motivated to achieve excellent customer service
· Able to work in a fast-paced environment
. Able to understand guests needs and working with them for best customer service
. Must be able to understand guests with lateness for breakfast and understanding how to help them out due to operational hours
. Customer service is the biggest qualification and able to handle guests with helping them with what they need even if after the closing of breakfast time.
Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as well as talk and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must be able to see differences in widths and lengths of lines, such as those on graphs.
