Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Housekeeper to join our team in a leading hotel establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire housekeeping operation, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hospitality are maintained throughout the hotel. The role requires strong leadership and management skills to manage a team of housekeeping staff, as well as the ability to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for guests.
Duties:
- Oversee and manage the entire housekeeping department, including laundry, linen supply, and waste management.
- Develop and implement effective housekeeping procedures and standards, ensuring high levels of cleanliness and quality.
- Supervise and train housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the hotel's standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure that the hotel meets the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Manage the cleaning of all guest areas, including rooms, corridors, and public areas.
- Coordinate the cleaning of industrial areas, such as the kitchen, laundry, and storage facilities.
- Ensure that all areas are maintained to the highest standards, including floor care, and that all equipment is properly maintained.
- Manage and maintain the hotel's linen inventory, ensuring that there is an adequate supply for all guest rooms.
- Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules, ensuring that the hotel is kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Respond to guest complaints and concerns, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that guests are satisfied with the cleanliness and quality of the hotel.
Experience:
- Proven experience in a housekeeping or hospitality management role, preferably in a hotel setting.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to manage a team of housekeeping staff.
- Experience in industrial cleaning, including the use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Experience in floor care, including the use of cleaning machines and chemicals.
- Experience in laundry and linen supply management.
- Experience in housekeeping management, including the development and implementation of cleaning procedures and standards.
- Experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
