Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services during breakfast hours, ensuring that all food and beverage offerings are prepared and presented to the highest standards. Your attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with guests will create a welcoming atmosphere that enhances their dining experience.
Duties
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area, including food stations and beverage dispensers.
- Ensure all food items are fresh, appealing, and in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Assist guests with their meal selections, providing information about menu items and dietary options.
- Operate the Aloha POS system for order processing, ensuring accurate billing and transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area throughout service, including tables, utensils, and equipment.
- Handle catering requests as needed, ensuring timely delivery of food items to designated areas.
- Perform meal preparation tasks such as coffee brewing, meat cutting, and other necessary cooking duties.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during breakfast service.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with guest services and catering operations is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of meal preparation techniques is beneficial.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
