The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for carrying out the daily buffett breakfast operations at the property. This includes following all company policies and procedures in accordance with all property manuals, achieving department goals and other duties as assigned by the Breakfast Manager or General Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Maintain cleanliness and safety in the breakfast dining area as well as kitchen.
· Complete Weekly and Monthly inventory and orders as assigned.
· To respond to action items and guest related items or problems promptly and effectively to prevent reoccurrence.
· Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
· Follow all food safety procedures including prep, storage and temperatures.
· Prepare food items each morning for breakfast.
· Cook food items each morning in a timely manner in order to have correct quantities needed at correct times.
· To serve food items efficiently and safely
· To keep breakfast items appropriately stocked throughout breakfast.
· Replenish food and drink items as necessary throughout breakfast.
· To ensure security of all property breakfast equipment.
· Communicate with property managers regarding projects, inventory, ordering, and guest impact items.
· To be aware of industry trends and knowledgeable of the area including events and trends.
· To maintain a culture of legendary service and hospitality.
· To maintain the highest level of cleanliness, maintenance, and care throughout property grounds, pool areas, activity areas, common areas, and back of house areas.
· To address employee related items and issues promptly and professionally with a manager in a manner that is consistent with core values.
· To work with local health department, fire inspector, and other state or local agencies to maintain compliance at the property.

· Effective verbal communications skills.

· Must have superior problem solving skills.
· Ability to work early morning hours.
· Must have reliable transportation.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Stand and walk for the majority of the work day.
· Apply physical dexterity with some bending, stretching, reaching, grabbing, holding, and carrying.
· Lift 20-30 pounds
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work will mostly be done inside in the dining room or kitchen environment. Other areas include, Housekeeping of dining area and kitchen area, food prep and cleaning supplies.
