Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Conduct inspections of facilities to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities and inventory management.
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions effectively.
- Execute residential painting tasks as needed to maintain aesthetic appeal.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed, including materials used and time spent on tasks.
Skills
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems.
- Experience in supervising maintenance staff or projects is preferred.
- Ability to maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques is essential.
