Hotel Maintenance Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of facilities management, ensuring that all aspects of the hotel run smoothly. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance and guest services, as well as the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
• Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to foster a positive work environment.
• Oversee maintenance management, including HVAC systems, electrical systems, and industrial maintenance tasks.
• Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking maintenance schedules and work orders.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
• Address guest complaints and feedback promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate with various departments to optimize service delivery and operational processes.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for hotel operations.
• Implement cost-control measures while maintaining quality service standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in low voltage systems, electrical troubleshooting (using voltmeter and ohmmeter), and HVAC systems.
• Familiarity with facilities management principles and practices.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficient in using CMMS software for maintenance management tasks.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
