What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Holiday Inn Express?
Maintain the exterior and interior of the building for safety and functionality. Make repairs such as painting, electrical, hvacs, plumbing, and pool chemicals. This includes trash pick up, weeding, and snow removal. This role will also include general cleaning in public spaces and preventative maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: Building maintenance experience preferred. We are able to train someone that has a maintenance mindset. This job requires the ability to perform the following:
- Carrying, lifting, pushing and/or pulling items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Frequently standing up and moving about the facility; bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing and crawling
- Communication, both verbal and written
- Able to interact pleasantly with guests, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
- Problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities are used often.
