Holiday Inn Louisville East is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Team in Louisville, KY.
All positions require flexibility in scheduling and will be required to work some weekends and holidays. POSITION OVERVIEW:
This position will be responsible for performing basic service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, interior finishes while maintaining a safe and friendly environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:
- Works in a team environment in a primarily response role to complete inspections, repairs, and preparation of guest units.
- Assist with preventative maintenance duties and repairs throughout the resort common areas.
- Assist guests and staff in the resolution of unit maintenance concerns, complaints, and questions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid driver’s license required
- Experience in hotel maintenance or related field a plus
- Basic skills in painting, tile, plumbing, carpentry and electrical
- Knowledge of hand and power tools and a mechanical aptitude.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Maintain accurate records of work performed
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow written instruction and oral instructions
