What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Janitor - KCI Expo Center position at Holiday Inn KCI Airport/KCI Expo Center/Atwell Suites KCI?
Overview:
We’re looking to hire a hard-working, part-time Janitor who can maintain the cleanliness and safety of our building. You’ll be responsible for cleaning duties such as vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning restrooms, in addition to maintenance tasks such as emptying trash and other light-duty responsibilities as needed. The ideal candidate has a very flexible schedule, with both weekday morning and weekend morning availability. This individual will work a varying amount of hours per week, solely depending upon the events taking place here at the KCI Expo Center (could be anywhere from 10-15 hours per week).
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the building
- Vacuum carpets, mop floors, scrub restrooms, dust furniture, and empty trash cans
- Clean windows, shampoo carpets, and supply restrooms
- Wipe up spills and other hazards with sponges and squeegees
Qualifications and Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in janitorial services is preferred
- Driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite
- Experience with a variety of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment
- Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic
Schedule (May Vary):
- AM Shifts
- Weekends, and occasionally a few days during the week
- Anywhere from 10-15 hours per week
