Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facility, including the laundry room and closets.
- Ensure the laundry room, closets, and other back-of-house areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained, with floors swept and mopped daily.
- Responsible for scheduling housekeeping staff to ensure proper coverage and efficiency each day, with open availability to handle staffing needs.
- Work as a team with housekeepers to ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard.
- Review brand cleanliness scores regularly and take corrective action to improve or maintain high standards.
- Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures to enhance service quality.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of performance.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Manage inventory levels for cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary, and unloading orders when they arrive.
- Oversee budgeting for linens and housekeeping hours to ensure financial efficiency while maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
- Address guest inquiries or complaints regarding cleanliness in a timely and professional manner.
- Resolve any problems or conflicts with housekeeping staff, ensuring a positive work environment.
- Maintain records related to housekeeping activities, including staff schedules and supply usage.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, floor care, and custodial practices.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with guests and staff alike.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management software is a plus but not required.
- Experience with budgeting and managing expenses, particularly for linens and housekeeping hours.
- Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
