Your Role as Front Desk Lead:
- Partner with the Front Desk Manager and General Manager to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Maximize room revenue, maintain smooth front desk operations, and assist guests with inquiries in a friendly, professional manner.
- Lead by example by sharing your knowledge and motivating the team.
- Oversee accurate processing of hotel charges and ensure the Night Audit is completed correctly, solving any discrepancies efficiently.
- Act as the go-to person when the General Manager or Operations Manager is unavailable, ensuring that guest satisfaction remains the top priority. Along with Shifts at the Front Desk.
Guest Service Focus: Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to maintain top-tier service, especially during busy periods.
Your Role as Events Coordinator:
- Build relationships with new and existing clients through outside sales calls, networking, and follow-ups.
- Host potential clients, maintain strong accounts, and develop new leads to secure bookings.
- Create customized proposals and deliver presentations for clients needing rooms, meeting spaces, catering, and other services.
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales and General Manager to set rates and negotiate contracts.
- Represent the hotel at local and regional events, trade shows, and workshops. Along with Shifts at the Front Desk as an Events Coordinator.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Experience: 1-2 years in sales or marketing; hotel experience is a big plus. A relevant degree is preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
- Mobility: A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for outside sales visits.
- Flexibility: Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
