What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Holiday Inn & Suites Ocala?
Holiday Inn and Suites enthusiastically provides an excellent guest drinking and dining experience. Our skilled Bartenders must be able to create classic cocktails, has extensive beer knowledge as well as full knowledge of standard menu and daily specials.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Bartending experience in a restaurant or hotel preferred, not required.
Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons.
Interact with Guests, take orders and serve food and drinks.
Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations.
Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.
Protects establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies, maintaining orderly bar.
Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of basic math skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team.
Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to restaurant manager.
Must be upbeat, outgoing and positive with guests and the staff.
Must work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. as needed.
