Holiday Inn & Suites Katy Mills is currently seeking candidates for a General Cleaning and Hotel Housekeeping during some mornings and mostly in the evenings to join the team! Customer service experience required, hotel experience preferred. Must have a true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment. We offer a professional work environment.
Their will also be a requirement for Light Maintenance duties such as Shampooing Carpets, Swimming Pool Maintenance, Guestroom Maintenance, Preventative Maintenance within Guestrooms, Complete Houseman Duties to ensure complete Guest Satisfaction in addition to an opportunity to grow your career after meeting and beating these needs!
Flexibility for work hours within the day is a requirement.
Job Description:
- Responsible for cleanliness in all public areas by mopping, vacuuming, dusting, etc
- Available at all times for guest requests providing prompt and exceptional guest services
- Involved in monthly and quarterly preventative maintenance in public spaces and guest room mattress rotation
- Complete light maintenance work orders such as needed and in a timely manner
- Report identified safety issues and/or maintenance deficiencies in all public areas to supervisor
- Handle other services as needed by the Executive Housekeeper
Requirements:

- Ability to walk and stand during full shift
- Ability to utilize basic hand and power tools required for general maintenance
- Must be flexible with schedule and available on weekends

- Ability to frequently lift/carry up to 15 lbs.
