Job Overview:
As a Server/Bartender at Solstice, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional experience. You will take orders, serve food and beverages, craft delicious cocktails, and contribute to the overall energy of the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:Server Duties:
- Provide friendly and attentive service, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Take food and drink orders, accurately entering them into the POS system.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation.
- Answer questions about the menu, including ingredients, dietary restrictions, and drink pairings.
- Maintain a clean and organized section, resetting tables efficiently.
- Collaborate with hosts, bussers, and the kitchen to provide seamless service.
- Process payments and handle transactions with accuracy.
Bartender Duties:
- Prepare and serve craft cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages according to Solstice’s standards.
- Engage with guests at the bar, providing recommendations and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all supplies are stocked.
- Check IDs and adhere to all liquor laws and responsible service guidelines.
- Assist in developing seasonal cocktail menus and drink specials.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality service.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server or bartender preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food, wine, beer, and cocktails is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Availability on nights, weekends, and holidays preferred.
