Duties

- Manage and train housekeeping staff, providing guidance on best practices in cleaning and hospitality.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures for efficient workflow.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Address guest inquiries or complaints related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special requests or events that require additional cleaning services.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
Experience
- Proven experience in housekeeping management within a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques, custodial practices, and industrial cleaning methods.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to lead by example and motivate a team towards achieving common goals.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management software is a plus.
