We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unusual activity.
- Operate and maintain surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting thorough investigations as necessary.
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises.
- Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering CPR and first aid when required.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary for incident reporting or investigations.
- Document all incidents, observations, and activities in a clear and concise manner.
- Conduct loss prevention measures to minimize theft or damage to property.
- Manage conflicts effectively through de-escalation techniques and conflict resolution strategies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques is highly desirable.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications related to security are a plus.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policies.
