Job Title: Receptionist with Accounting Responsibilities
Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Receptionist with Accounting Responsibilities. This dual-role position requires a professional who can effectively manage front-desk operations while also performing basic accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, a strong aptitude for numbers, and the ability to multitask efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Receptionist Duties (50%)
· Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
· Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and inquiries to appropriate departments.
· Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
· Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including courier services.
· Assist with general administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and supply inventory.
Basic Accounting Functions (50%)
· Process and record invoices, payments, and receipts in eStore.
· Perform data entry for financial transactions and reconcile accounts.
· Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
· Prepare bank deposits and maintain financial records.
· Generate basic financial reports as needed.
· Support the accounting team with month-end and year-end closing activities.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent a must
· Associate's degree in business, accounting, or related field is a plus.
· Proven experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or similar role.
· Basic knowledge of accounting principles and experience with accounting programs.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
